Function Select: Configuration: Demodulator: BER Threshold

BER THRESHOLD

NONE

This function is used to set the BER threshold. If the BER threshold set is exceeded, a

receive alarm will be indicated by the status indicators, also a receive alarm relay will

engage providing external status at the rear panel.

BER threshold may be set for 1E-3 to 1E-8, or may be disabled by specifying NONE.

On entry, the current setting of the BER threshold is displayed. Press [↑] or [↓] to select

the desired setting. Press <ENTER> to execute the change.

Programs the E

target set point. The E

target set point ranges from 3.0 to 16.0

dB, in 0.1 dB steps.

On entry, the current E

target set point is displayed with a flashing cursor. Press [↑]

or [↓] to increment the digit at the flashing cursor. Press <ENTER> to execute the

change.
