Serial

• Interface Type – Use the drop-down list to select the operating serial mode as RS-485 or

RS-232.

• Remote Address – Enter a valid remote control address from 0001 to 9999.

• Baud Rate: – Use the drop-down list to select the operating baud rate as 100, 2400, 4800,

9600, 19200 or 38400 baud.

• Data bits / Stop Bits / Parity – Use the drop-down lists to select the asynchronous character

format as:

o 8-N-1 (8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit)

o 7-O-2 (7 data bits, odd parity, 2 stop bits)

o 7-E-2 (7 data bits, even parity, 2 stop bits).

Click [Change Serial Configuration] to save.

Note that, when the External Reference hardware option is not installed, this section is dimmed

and non-functional:

Otherwise, when the External Reference hardware option is installed, use the drop-down list to

define the External Reference Lock Detected alarm as Masked or Active, and then click

[Submit] to save.
