3.4.3.1.1 Data I/O Connector (J8) Removal
Refer to Figure 3-10.
1. (For Ribbon-Configured Connector) Remove Data I/O connector (J8) as follows:
a. Remove four screws securing the rear panel to the chassis.
b. Pull out rear panel to gain access to disconnect connector (J8).
b. Disconnect connector (J8) from the PCB.
c. Remove the four screws securing connector (J8) to the rear panel.
d. Remove the connector (J8).
2. Remove 50-pin Data I/O connector (J8) as follows:
a. Remove the four screws securing the connector (J8) to the rear panel.
b. Establish a grip on connector (J8) and pull backwards until separation of the
connectors is obtained.
c. Remove connector (J8).
3.4.3.1.2 Data I/O Connector (J8) Installation
Refer to Figure 3-10.

(For Ribbon-Configured Connector) Install Data I/O connector (J8) as follows:
a. Position connector (J8) in rear panel.
CAUTION
Use care when connecting the data I/O connector (J8) to the PCB.
Damage to the connector pins may render the data I/O connector
(J8) unserviceable. Misalignment can be the result.
b. Connect connector (J8) to the PCB.
c. Secure connector (J8) to the rear panel with four screws.
d. Position the rear panel to mate with the chassis and secure with four screws.
2. Install 50-pin Data I/O connector (J8) as follows:
CAUTION
Use care when connecting the Data I/O connector (J8) to the PCB.
Damage to the connector pins may render the data I/O connector
(J8) unserviceable. Misalignment can be the result.
a. Connect connector (J8) to the PCB.
b. Secure connector (J8) using four screws.
